The Gratitude HeartsOur soapstone hearts are carved in Kenya by local artisans. The heart begins as a piece of natural soapstone hit with a machete to split into smaller pieces. Each smaller piece is hand carved into a unique piece of art shaped into a heart. The heart then is smoothed, and either left in it's natural state or dyed and a special design is carved into the heart. Each one is unique, no two are alike. I use the gratitude heart to anchor others to God's love by holding the heart in your hand, placing it over your heart, and giving thanks for one thing that happened that day. I recommend using the gratitude heart as the last thing you do at bedtime so you can go to sleep with a grateful heart. When you wake up in the morning, look at the gratitude heart to start your day with God's love and gratitude. The gratitude hearts are so comforting.

Why Was Grateful Gratitude Started?Grateful Gratitude is a nonprofit 501c3 ministry helping others recognize God's love through practicing gratitude. I have gone through extremely dark times when I would cling to God and gratitude to get me through to a better life. I had a tough marriage riddled with drug and alcohol abuse by my first husband. I lived with a man addicted to meth and alcohol and quit functioning as a husband and father. I sheltered a small daughter from the day-to-day destruction that surrounded me. Lexie, my daughter went through a severe bout of anxiety and OCD during her pregnancy with her son, Levi. She was scared and debilitated and suffered daily again leading me back to God's love and practicing gratitude. I survived these situations by praying and anchoring to God's love and gratitude. I was thankful for anything I could find positive in my life knowing God was with me. |
