Why Was Grateful Gratitude Started?
Grateful Gratitude is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) ministry passionately dedicated to helping others recognize and experience God's love through the transformative practice of gratitude.
I have faced incredibly dark times when my only lifeline was my faith in God and the power of gratitude. My first marriage was fraught with the devastating effects of my husband’s drug and alcohol abuse. Living with a man whose addiction to meth and alcohol rendered him incapable of fulfilling his roles as a husband and father was heartbreaking. I fought tirelessly to shield my young daughter from the chaos and destruction that engulfed our lives. My daughter, Lexie, faced her own struggles during her pregnancy with her son, Levi, battling severe anxiety and OCD. Paralyzed by fear and overwhelmed by daily challenges, she became a vivid reminder of the love and strength that can only come from God. In those moments, I was once again drawn back to the profound impact of gratitude, reinforcing my belief that even in the darkest times, we can find light through faith and appreciation. |
